Waveney Beekeepers Group

The subscription to Waveney Beekeepers Group for 2018 is £35. This subscription includes membership to the British Beekeepers’ Association (BBKA), the Suffolk BKA county levy and minimum Bee Disease Insurance (BDI). BBKA membership provides third party and limited liability insurance.

As a service to the public, all members are asked to collect swarms. If you are willing to do this please indicate and your name will be included on the list given to the police and local authorities

The Suffolk Beekeepers' Association would be very grateful for help at the Suffolk Show, which will be held on 30th and 31st May 2018. If, in return for free parking and entry, you would be willing to work two 2-hour sessions on one or other day (or both) please check the appropriate dates.
Bee Craft Magazine We regret we are no longer able to offer the BeeCraft Magazine but this can be purchased directly from BeeCraft.

Bee Disease Insurance (BDI) - Additional Insurance Premium: This insurance covers the destruction of bees, honey and equipment as a result of American or European Foul Brood. You must insure for the maximum number of colonies you may have during the 2018 season - allowing for splitting and for swarms hived. Insurance for the first 3 colonies is already included in the FULL MEMBERS subscription.
